Chiropractic for Golf & Back Pain

I did my Masters’s dissertation and research on Golf and mechanical lower back pain.

I looked at the “Immediate Effect of Spinal Manipulation Therapy on Club Head Velocity (CHV) in Amateur Golfers suffering from Mechanical Low Back Pain”

The research showed a significant increase in CHV after spinal manipulation, with an associated decrease in objective pain sensitivity after spinal manipulative therapy. The research also suggested an influence in increasing accuracy, which suggests a mechanoreceptive and proprioceptive/coordination influence following spinal manipulative therapy.

Thus Chiropractic manipulative therapy potentially increases your clubhead velocity by 2,61 mph, and directly influences/optimizes your spinal biomechanics which directly translates into increasing ball travel distance post immediate spinal manipulation therapy. There was also anecdotal evidence noted of up to a 75% gain in consistency and accuracy of ball flight immediately post spinal manipulative therapy.
