X-Ray Investigations

XRays

XRays are warranted if you are presenting with a condition that needs to be investigated further. XRays have a significant role in assisting in a diagnosis and determining an appropriate treatment plan for your condition. XRays provide the “blue print” of your skeletal structure and allow for an objective measurement of spinal posture and joint health. At Jermyn Chiropractic we will refer you to have XRays accordingly when indicated.

Diagnostic Ultrasound

Diagnostic Ultrasound investigation is only warranted if you are presenting with a condition that needs to be investigated further and pertains mostly to “soft tissue” dysfunction or injury. At Jermyn Chiropractic we will refer you to have a Diagnostic Ultrasound with a Specialist Radiologist accordingly if warranted.

MRI’s/CT scans

MRI’s (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) and CT (Computed Tomography) scans are only warranted if you present with a condition that needs to be investigated further by a Specialist, and this needs to be authorised by a Specialist eg. Neurologist, Neurosurgeon, Orthopaedic Surgeon etc.
MRI’s and CT’s have a significant role in assisting the diagnosis of your condition. At Jermyn Chiropractic we will refer you to the appropriate specialist, who will then further warrant to have these scans authorised accordingly.
